Hello again, my dear readers. I hope that your week has been a lovely one so far and that you are feeling in a Christmasy mood. I know that I am (despite the fact that I have been listening to more evermore than Christmas carols), especially with the news that we are mostly likely getting a whole bunch of snow in the next 24 hours. We have been doing Advent regularly and got our tree up last week. I always love spending time with my family this time of year; everything is so cozy over here.
This week has been a surprisingly productive one so far, yes I know that it is only Wednesday, but I am feeling pretty proud of the amount of school work that I have managed to get done. Of course my productive streak is likely to break today because….wait for it….our puppies arrived!! They were picked up, by some farmer friends, in Virginia and we have been so excited see them in person for the first time!! They so incredible, I am absolutely in love. Anyway, don’t be surprised if you see some pictures of the new additions to our family soon.
And….to get back on topic; I thought I would share some of the Christmas albums and songs that I have been enjoying this year with all of you. And without further intro…let’s dive in.
(Click on the album picture to find the link to the album. :))
Hush (feat. Melodie Malone)
Grace of God with Us (feat. Chidima)
Hope Has A Name (feat. Kristian Stanfill)
What Child is This? (feat. Avril Lavigne)
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
It Came Upon A Midnight Clear (feat. Brooke)
Silent Night (feat. Fleurie)
(Honestly I am in love with this whole album, but these are my favorites if I must choose.)
Somebody Else For Christmas
(I really love this message and reminder as well as Apicella’s voice.)

Let It Snow
Angels We Have Heard On High
O’ Come (feat. Tedashii, CASS, nobigdyl)
What A Time (feat. SVRCINA, WHATUPRG)
Noel (feat. Trip Lee, Dave James)
(This is a wonderful album that we have listened to literally 200 times. ๐ It is an album that my family all enjoys and we all have the words memorized to most of the songs. )
What Christmasy songs have you been listening to on repeat? Have you heard any of these versions of these songs before? Do you have a tree, lights or other decorations up? (On a side note, how do you feel about evermore?)

I actually really like evermore! At least, I think I do? I’ve only heard one song so far. I decided to listen to all of folklore first, so I’m slowly making my way through that. XD

That makes sense. I have found that the two albums basically feel as though they are one album.
Honestly, when Folklore came out I wasn’t that into it, but after watching the Long Pond Sessions (on Disney+), I was hooked.
